Reverse Osmosis
The osmosis membranes act as a physical barrier for separating organic matter, microorganisms and colloidal-like substances. They can also be alternatives or additions to ion exchange technology for high concentrations of dissolved salts.
It’s an easy, robust and easy to maintain technology, which usually has low energy consumption (liquid-liquid separation).
INERCO designs include, when required, pre-treatment to reduce the physical and biological fouling of the membranes.
