Consiste en la eliminaci\u00f3n de iones y especies ionizadas presentes en el agua por medio de electricidad. Entre otras aplicaciones, se utiliza como afino para el agua de permeado obtenida de una \u00f3smosis inversa, reemplazando los sistemas tradicionales de lecho mixto y eliminando la necesidad del uso de productos qu\u00edmicos para la regeneraci\u00f3n de las resinas de intercambio. De esta forma, evitamos tanto el coste elevado de estos productos, como los problemas medioambientales que pueden ocasionar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 24px; font-weight: 300; line-height: 28px; margin-bottom: 20px;\">La simplicidad, el menor espacio ocupado, la facilidad de mantenimiento y el que sea un proceso continuo son otras ventajas frente a los equipos de Intercambio I\u00f3nico con
