Inspection of Ambient Noise

We carry out campaigns of noise measurement for compliance testing and adaptation to emission limits and noise immission (Royal Decree 1367-1307 National Noise Act and Autonomous regulations) of industries and transport infrastructure (roads, railways, airports), at the Acoustics Laboratory of INERCO Acoustic (accredited by ENAC environmental acoustics according to Standard UNE EN ISO 17025:2005)

  • Measurements of environmental noise from industrial sources

Measurements of industrial origin arising in natural environments, such as those related to renewable energy (especially wind farms whose turbines cause a significant noise impact ), with industry from petrochemicals and energy use (thermal power plants, combined cycle, cogeneration plants), mining and quarrying, concrete industry, sewage treatment plants, gasification, race tracks, etc. With a wide range of noise generation from industrial sources where evaluation of the sound condition thereof requires a very refined methodology and extensive experience for the appropriate interpretation of the rules in order to justify compliance with regulatory limits.

  • Noise certification in transport infrastructures

As a preliminary and final verification phase of environmental noise impact and noise nuisance associated with roads, railways and airports, INERCO Acoustic carry out in-situ measurement campaigns of environmental noise levels. These measurements allow sufficient information for the preparation of projects, as well as verification of the theoretical studies after implantation.

Assessments are usually treated as long-term noise evaluations, which not only check the sound immission levels but also the contribution of new infrastructure modifications to comply with the objectives of sound quality.
